CCTV Expected to Launch Free HD DTT Services in October 2007

According to First Financial Daily, China's CCTV is planning to launch free HD digital terrestrial TV services in October 2007 at the earliest. CCTV currently is one the three operators in China providing HD digital cable TV services at around 960 - 1440 RMB (US$123.2 - 188.8; US$1 = 7.6 RMB) per month.
